RED was appointed Lead Consultant for this new standalone primary Data Centre facility for Halkbank.
RED played a pivotal role in the project, seamlessly taking it from the initial concept design stage to full detailed design and construction. The facility was meticulously prepared for IT fit-out after the Integrated Systems Testing (IST) phase.
RED’s scope also encompassed Uptime design and facility certification, ensuring the highest level of reliability and performance, as well as LEED certification, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. This comprehensive approach ensured the successful realization of a world-class facility.

This world-class standard facility sets a new precedent in Data Centre design for Turkey. RED’s solution included 500kW of low grade waste heat being exported to the adjoining new bank campus development. Mass air free cooling (MAFC) units were designed by RED in collaboration with the air handling unit manufacturers.
