At RED, we are dedicated to supporting, empowering, and celebrating the differences that shape our workplace. We foster an environment of unity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and respect for all individuals.
We recognise that diversity is integral to our business identity, and we encourage a rich array of perspectives, ideas, and working styles from various cultural backgrounds. Together, we thrive through our differences!
Our IDEA working group promotes equality and acts as a catalyst for change, championing initiatives and fresh approaches that drive the business forward. Our Women in RED network creates opportunities for growth and leadership, while our STEM ambassadors inspire the next generation of young engineers.
Women in RED
The WiRED group aims to foster a supportive network that encourages women to pursue careers in engineering and take on leadership roles. By providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities for professional development, WiRED seeks to inspire the next generation of female leaders in STEM fields, promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry.
STEM
The STEM team is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplace by inspiring the next generation to engage in STEM activities and pursue careers in engineering. By providing essential STEM education and career inspiration, ensuring that all individuals have the opportunity to explore and thrive in these fields.
Diversity in Engineering
Our Idea Group focuses on increasing the representation of minoritised groups in engineering by collecting detailed data to assess our current workforce demographics. We aim to reduce bias in the recruitment and selection process and collaborate with the graduate steering group to enhance the recruitment of underrepresented graduates, fostering a more inclusive and diverse engineering community.
Celebrating Cultural Holidays and Events
The RED IDEA Group is dedicated to promoting the celebration of festivals, holidays, and notable events that reflect our diverse community. By organising engaging events, we aim to highlight and support the aspirations of the IDEA Groups, fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are recognised and valued.

We are passionate about inspiring the next generation to take part in STEM activities and consider a career in engineering. We have brought vital STEM subjects and career inspiration to over 6,000 young people in the UK.Diana Kenny Mechanical Engineer & Global STEM Coordinator
