White City
The White City development is a 406 apartment residential scheme developed by St James in the heart of west London.
Some of the key mechanical and electrical services include:
- Energy centre which includes a 1.3MW(th)/1.28MW(e) CHP and 2no 2MW high efficiency boilers
- Central chilled water system providing cooling to apartments and residential facilities
- A rain water harvesting system to supply reclaimed water to the landlords irrigation system
- Three High Voltage ring supplies to the development with links between for back up emergency supplies
Services Provided:
- Commissioning management of the mechanical, electrical and public health services
- Development of an infrastructure services commissioning plan
- Technical reviews of the commissioning method statements
- Chairing and coordination of fortnightly building services commissioning meetings on site including critical path items
- A pro-active hands on approach to the changing client requirements

Key Facts
- 406 apartments within phase 1 arrange over three blocks with a basement car park and ancillary areas
- Future phases will increase the development to up to 2400 homes
- £800m development with phase 6 expected completion in 2030
