We are pleased to announce that Thierry Kalfon will be appointed as RED's Chief Executive Officer effective 1 September 2024.
Thierry joined ENGIE in 2009 as Chief Financial Officer of GRTgaz. Within ENGIE, he covered various positions in Finance and Renewables, including Deputy CEO of ENGIE Renewables Europe in charge of Finance, Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Deputy CFO in charge of FP&A and Performance, and Managing Director of the Renewables Global Business Line. In 2022, Thierry became Chief Executive Officer of ENGIE Renewables in Australia and South-East Asia.
I am pleased to welcome Thierry Kalfon as our new CEO. Thierry's extensive experience and leadership in the ENGIE Group will be invaluable in the ongoing evolution of the RED business and our integration with Tractebel. Thierry will be stepping into the position previously held by Marty Sieh, who departed from RED last month to return to the U.S. and pursue his career outside the ENGIE Group.
