We now seek an apprentice BIM Technician, to join our London office.
Role Responsibilities
As a Junior MEP BIM Technician, you will be integral to our BIM initiatives for a diverse range of major Building Services projects. In this position, you will support the BIM Manager and the broader BIM Team, ensuring that our projects meet the specific requirements of our project teams. You will use our BIM software and integration platforms, your primary responsibility will be to provide 3D modelling expertise across a variety of MEP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 3D modelling expertise for MEP projects using the latest BIM software and integration platforms.
- Support the BIM Manager in enhancing the design teams’ skills and capabilities.
- Ensure projects are delivered within a BIM-compliant environment.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams, demonstrating technical skills and a collaborative nature.
- Contribute significantly to Building Services projects, shaping our digital delivery practices and project successes.
Role Requirements
- Entry-level position; no prior BIM experience required.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Enthusiastic about learning and understanding the opportunity to get involved in the industry.
- Basic understanding of key health and safety issues and legislation
- Knowledge of MS Office applications word, excel etc.
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Some work experience in the construction industry (not BIM-specific) is advantageous but not essential.
